Tiger Blood

I am halfway through the Whole30 challenge and my energy is through the roof. I've kicked my sugar cravings too! I've hit the downhill slope of my Whole30 and I've been having fun experimenting with new, yummy recipes this week.

Avocado Sweet Potato "toast":

Smoked Salmon Salad with homemade Whole30 ranch dressing:

Day 15 and Mike hasn't had indigestion. We both agree we're feeling happier these days too.

More happy highlights:

We've been busy touring different museums throughout the city. It was interesting to listen to a three-year-old's perspective on different paintings and sculptures in the National Art Gallery.

After visiting the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, Henry wanted to build an airplane and play pilot.

Trudging out in the early morning to toboggan in the fresh snow.

Cheerful yellow flowers to decorate my kitchen table and remind me that spring is just around the corner.

Our Easter gift project is also in full bloom. Henry painted every pot and planted every seed. Every morning, he races down the stairs to water his flowers and marvel at how much they've grown.

Easter jammies. Yes, I know it's early, but pajamas sell out quick and these were too cute to resist!

Tiger blood, I tell ya!
