On December 12th, 2012, I experienced the most love and joy in one single moment at 9:30 a.m. Eight pound, fifteen ounce Henry Peter snuggled into my neck and I realized my biggest dream had come true. When Mike said, "Good job mom," in the operating room, my heart smiled with pride. One amazing year has filled the space between then and Henry's first birthday and in it-so much love! We celebrated that love today at our baby boy's Winter ONEderland. It was magical.
We transformed our home home into Henry's igloo by hanging Snowflakes and twinkle lights everywhere.
Thank you, Mimi, for making a snowflake tablecloth!
Party favors: loot bags full of Christmas candies.
And what's a birthday without party games? "Pin the Nose on Rudolph" was a huge hit!
Henry loved walking down his candy cane runway.
But, he didn't love wearing the party hat I made for him.
Christmas carols played in the background as we feasted on homemade mini pizza appetizers, garlic bread, caesar salad, lasagna and birthday cake. Henry had a great time and ate his cake like a gentleman.
We spent the rest of the night chilling out in Henry's igloo. It was snow much fun watching the birthday boy open all his presents.
Happy Birthday, sweet boy! And happy weekend to you, friends!
