I invited my friend, fellow Breaking Bad fan, Simone over to watch the last episode of the AMC series with me. We wanted to celebrate our favourite show, so we decided to throw a last minute Breaking Bad finale party. The rules were simple: wear cozy clothes and accessorize with safety goggles.
I transformed my dining room into a superlab. My kitchen table was covered with various scientific tubes full of coloured bubbles and my place cards used chemical symbols of elements in our names (just like in the opening credits of the show).
Most impressive of all was the food. Simone brought homemade chicken fingers in handmade Los Pollos Hermanos take-out bags. For dessert, I served blue "crystal" cupcakes.
Breaking Bad earned a staggering 10.3 million viewers for its series finale, setting a ratings record. I'm happy with how the show ended, but sad that it's over. Simone and I had a blast and are already planning our Walking Dead premiere party. The moral of the story: Find more reasons to celebrate!
Before I sign-off, a picture of Henry-Breaking Bad...
Have a badass week, friends!
