Ode to my Girlfriends

     When we were twelve, my girlfriends and I had a Spice Girls party. We dressed up as our favourite Spice Girl and spent the night dancing and singing along to their debut album "Spice". We even had a photo shoot and posed wearing platform shoes and crazy amounts of roll on glitter. It was so much fun. I believe the Spice Girls taught us two things:  (1) Girl Power! and (2) friendship never ends. It has been sixteen years since that Spice Girls party and I'm happy to say that we continue to show up for one another. This weekend, we had a bridal shower for Ginger Spice to celebrate her upcoming nuptials and it was a lovely afternoon.

A shower gift for the bride-to-be. Guests were invited to sign their name on a piece of fabric and stick it on the train.

The bridal shower menu included; traditional tea sandwiches, salads, a veggie tray, fruit platter and a dessert table.

    i love nothing more than putting H and r in their overall dresses. except maybe rompers, those are pretty amazing.

    We also had a skit and performed it at the school assembly.I was in high school though! Lol!
